Game Night at the Library November 12
Join us on Tuesday, November 12 for a Game Night at the Vinton Public Library! The fun will be from 6-7:30 p.m. The featured games this week will include: Unstable Unicorns, Pictionary, Scrabble, Scattergories.Stop in for some fun. Vinton Parks and Recreation is introducing F.A.C. (Friday After Class)! Starting Nov 1st, we will be opening the Skate Center from 1:30 - 3:30 PM on select Fridays through February for drop-in activities!! Let's celebrate World Kindness Day by reading the book 'Wonder' by R.J. Palacio. Join us for a book discussion Thursday, November 21st at 6 pm and then stop back on Saturday morning, November 23rd to watch the movie!The book club is for children ages 7-12 and adults to team up. There is a limited number of copies at the library available for checkout. Chili Supper to support Eastern Iowa Honor Flights November 21
The annual Chili Supper to support the Eastern Iowa Honor Flights will be held on Thursday, November 21 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Vinton Fire Station. This is the same evening as the Holiday Parade.
